Tectus 540-3D-A8 hinge template features a revolutionary unique design with aluminum extension bars to reach door sizes from 7' to 8' ( 3 Hinges ) which will also speed mortise 3 hinges with just one set up. Simplify your installation process! The Tectus 540-3D-A8 Template can be adjusted for shallow and deep pockets-with no extra template guides needed. The template can be adjusted to door thicknesses of 1 3/4″ and 2 1/4″. The template can be used for interior or exterior left and right door and jamb. Note: The same template can be converted to door sizes of 8’6” for 4 hinges or for doors of 9’ or 10'. This unique template is made of 3/4″ Russian Baltic Birch Plywood 13 ply. 6/32 machine screws on the hinge guides are held by a metal insert into the wood base.
